Nothing says fashion-forward like a splash of color. I agree with Mr. Josh that the classic and simple leather band is an absolute staple for the young professional, but we’d both admit that I’m just a little less conservative in style than he tends to be. About a year ago, I came across a gorgeous Omega watch at the mall… blue leather band, understated crocodile detailing, gold casing, mother of pearl dial, simple face. Not exactly like this one, but you get the idea:
This watch is the bee knees. But who am I to recommend an $8000 watch??? Yes, $8K. That’s an awful lot of money considering you can embrace a similar style and leave a similar impression on your friends and co-workers with this watch:
Uncanny, right? Far south of $8000, this watch from Fossil comes in at $125 (available 7/25/13). Check it out here.
I’ve worn Fossil watches for 6 years. Fossil has done a great job staying relevant over time, adding new styles and flavor to suit the young professional. Also, I’m a huge fan of the blue leather on this watch (even without the crocodile). It’s understated enough to wear with a suit, but different and rich enough to have some fun.
