The notion of seasons has taken on a different meaning since coming to California. What I’ve learned in my short time in the Golden State is that cold weather is a relative term; what once used to be a term for a frosted Saturday morning now just means that the temperature dipped below 60 degrees for an evening. What makes Gustin unique is that they do crowdsourced “campaigns” for goods. Once the number of items backed reaches the campaign goal, the item is successfully funded and they start production.
Gustin is able to sell their products at wholesale prices because they now sell direct to customers. This allows the price point to be $81 per pair of jeans rather than $205.
